Past Fundraisers...

Spaghetti Dinner #1

On February 20, 2026, we hosted a delicious, all you can eat Spaghetti Dinner to support Hazen's Panama Service Learning Trip! Thank you to our sponsors who donated delicious ingredients!

Yoga Benefit Class

On January 31, Sophie Barsalow hosted a special yoga benefit class at Open Space Studio; proceeds supported students' participation in this international immersion experience and their service in rural Panama this June.

Bottle Drive

Thank you to all who donated to our Bottle Drive in January and a special thanks to Kwik Stop and M&M who served as collection points for the drive!

Raffle to Benefit Panama Service Learning Trip

Thanks to the generosity of Alchemist Brewery and Trillium Esthetics, we were able to raffle two great gifts this month to benefit Hazen students' service and learning in Panama this June!

Two winners were drawn December 1st, in time for holiday gift giving. The first ticket received their first choice prize--a $100 gift certificate to the Alchemist Brewery or a Facial at Trillium Esthetics in Montpelier (a $125 value). Thank you for your support!

Lunch & Bake Sale, November 11

🇵🇦 Thanks to all who supported the Hazen Union Panama Service Learning Trip through our Lunch and Bake Sale Fundraiser on Tuesday, November 11, in the Hazen Union Lobby! On the menu: Panamanian Sancocho (a hearty stew made with chicken, starchy vegetables, and cilantro, which is also gluten free) or Mac 'n Cheese with Coleslaw. A la carte and lunch items, baked goods, and beverages were also available for purchase.

Baby Photo Fundraiser

🎈 Baby Photos of nearly 30 Hazen staff members were posted in the library breezeway for the duration of J-term. Students, staff, and community members visiting our building voted with their dollars and cents on the cutest baby photo. Bills and checks counted positively toward each staff member’s total. Coins in each staff member's jar subtracted from their total.

🎈Winner received the glory of "Cutest Staff Baby Photo." All donations support student participation in Hazen’s June 2026 Squads Abroad Panama Service Learning Trip. Winner and baby identities were revealed on June 19.

🎈Checks should be made out to “Hazen Union School” with “Panama 2026” in the memo line.
