Hazen Union Gender and Sexuality (HUGS) Club is a community-centered club focused on uniting queer-identified and -allied youth. HUGS Club provides a safe space for LGBTQIAA+ individuals to explore their identities, let their true colors shine, and discuss pertinent issues in their local and broader communities. The Club was re-established in Fall 2022.

Past projects include:

• Student-led inclusivity workshops for Hazen Union faculty and staff

• Field trip to the Outright Vermont conference and workshop day in Richmond

• Crafts such as button-making

• Field trip to queer prom in Killington
