Hazen Union School, serving 300 middle and high school students throughout the towns of Hardwick, Greensboro, and Woodbury, provides its students with an extensive and comprehensive visual art curriculum. The school offers a wide array of courses including Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, Introduction to Studio Art, Printmaking for Profit, Studio Art Honors, and AP Studio Art.  With a unique collaboration between CCV and Hazen Union, students can obtain college credit through our dual enrollment program. Additionally, Hazen Union offers a chapter of the National Art Honor Society that allows visual art students to engage in arts-based community service and volunteer projects, meeting high standards of academic scholarship, ​character and service. Hazen Union School exists so that all students are empowered with the knowledge and skills needed to achieve their full potential and become successful, responsible, and contributing members of society, both locally and globally.

About the Instructors

Cynthia Camber, Visual Art Teacher, teaches Watercolor & Acrylic Painting, Introduction to Studio Art, Studio Art Honors, AP Studio Art, and online art courses with VTVLC.  Cynthia also oversees Hazen Union's chapter of the National Art Honor Society.

James Lockhart, Visual Art Teacher and Fine and Performing Arts Department Chair, teaches Art I, Drawing I and II, Sculpture, and Printmaking for Profit.
