Prospective Student Night
Prospective Student Night at Hazen Union School
Tuesday, April 14, at 6:00 PM (Middle School Concert at 7:00 PM)
Hazen Union School invites prospective students and families to join us for an evening that offers a look at our school community. This is an opportunity to experience who we are through conversation, relationships, and the work our students do every day. Families will meet students and teachers, explore our programs, and see how Hazen supports both academic growth and personal development for every learner. The evening will conclude with our Middle School Concert, offering a glimpse into the arts and student life that make Hazen a vibrant place to learn.
The evening begins at 6:00 PM in the front lobby, where families are welcomed and connected with student guides who will guide the experience. We will open with brief remarks in the library, grounding families in our mission, our commitment to relationships and the ways we support students through academic and community-based learning.
From there, families will move through a series of short, guided experiences. Classrooms and spaces across the building will be open, with teachers and students sharing what learning looks like at Hazen. This will include core academic areas, exploratory and elective offerings, and student support systems. Rather than a presentation-heavy structure, the focus will be on conversation. This will give families the chance to ask questions, meet the people who make the school run, and get a feel for daily life here.
At approximately 6:50 PM, we will transition toward the auditorium for the Middle School Concert at 7:00 PM. Families are encouraged to stay and enjoy the performance as a celebration of student talent and community.
Please note that we offer both full-time enrollment and flexible options for home study students, making it easier to connect with Hazen in a way that fits your needs. All families are welcome to join us!
Please let us know you are coming or are interested in learning more by submitting this form.
