Message from Dani Smith:

Hello seniors!

Thank you to everyone who has turned in their community service hours and PLPs after receiving a letter home. If you are still missing either of these requirements, as a reminder, they are due June 1st in order to participate in the graduation ceremony. Another reminder: we are having a mandatory graduation rehearsal on June 13th at 8:30 am on the soccer fields under the tent. You will not be able to participate in the graduation ceremony if you are not present for rehearsal - no exceptions.

I am reaching out to students and guardians to inquire about honors and scholarships students have received over the course of their high school careers - if there is a distinction, honor, or award that you have been awarded and would like recognized at the graduation ceremony, I need that information by May 20, 2025 to be included in our program.Examples include: National Art Honors Society, National Technical Honors Society, National Honors Society, The Mensch Award, The Seal of Biliteracy, Tink Eastman or Pete Hart Award, scholarships from VSAC or other organizations like the Legion/Kiwanis/Rotary/Knights of Columbus, Hazen Department recognition awards like The Jean Hackett Award, etc. Some awards have later announcement dates and can be added to the roll call for graduation, but any awards received after May 20th will not be printed in the programs. Some awards are announced and shared with me directly, but if it is something you want to make sure is included, please reach out to verify we have been notified.

If anyone has any questions, please feel free to reach out to Amanda Munson or myself!

Take care, Dani
