Unique Chainsaw Art Created by Hazen/GMTCC Students

Hazen students go to the woods to…make art!

Hazen students Cyrus Tanner and Zach Langmaid, enrolled in the GMTCC Forestry program, created these amazing works of art using a larger chainsaw, a smaller top handle chainsaw, a grinder and sander. Students may also stain, carve and burn the wood to create the desired effects.

Students in the Green Mountain Technology & Career Center forestry program can receive an art credit by creating a few art projects such as wreaths, Christmas decorations and chainsaw art.
