Inaugural "Do Day" a Success!

From painting the city’s fire hydrants, to helping local farmers muck and mulch, to reading to local elementary students, Hazen Union students were spotted all around our region on Friday, April 19, serving through their first ever “Do Day”. A community service event planned for and by students, Do Day was an opportunity for students to take on leadership roles, learn the intricacies of event planning, become civic servants, and simply connect with their local community. Along the way, students discovered joy and meaning in the work, and our community is stronger and more unified for it. Kudos to all!
