7th Grade to Host Bake Sale for Clean Water in South Sudan, Thursday, December 22

The 7th grade at Hazen is participating in the Iron Giraffe Challenge to raise money for Water for South Sudan, an organization drilling wells in villages without access to clean water. As part of our fundraising, we are holding a Winter Bake Sale at Tops in Hardwick.

But we need your help. Our bake sale will be held on Thursday, December 22nd, from 3:30 pm on. We are asking for students and families to bring baked goods, including pies, cookies, brownies, cupcakes, cakes and the like to school on that day, or if possible, to deliver them to our table at Tops at or around 3:30 on that date.

We ask that you:

  • include the name of your baked good and an ingredient list.
  • let us know your suggested sale price.
  • package your items knowing that your tin, plate (plastic or paper plate maybe) or other container will not be returned to you. Holiday-themed containers are nice but not required.

Please sign up on this document in advance, so that we know who is bringing what item(s), so that we can plan accordingly.

Thank you for helping us to bring fresh, clean water in a sustainable way to people in South Sudan who do not have access to this essential life resource!
