Your Financial Support is needed and appreciated

Our school and community are determined to offer the best educational opportunities possible to all our students, regardless of their background or financial resources. Renewing and building language and international experiential opportunities offered through Hazen are ways in which our school seeks to meet its mission to empower students "to achieve their full potential and become successful, responsible, and contributing members of society, locally and globally." To make this travel study program a reality, we must rely heavily on fundraising. We have a hefty fundraising goal of $29,000.

To make a tax-deductible donation the Hazen Paris 2024 Travel Study Program, please mail a check made out to "Hazen Union School" to: Hazen Union School, Attn: Hannah Martin-O’Brien, 126 Hazen Union Dr., Hardwick, VT 05843, USA.

Why Support International Experiences?

Youth international travel contributes to future success and will impact these young Vermont citizens for decades. A 2013 survey by the Wagner Group found that people with international travel experience as youth had higher educational attainment, heightened intellectual curiosity, were more likely to be inspired learners, and had greater cultural awareness.
