Hazen Union is proud to announce that three of its student artists earned top honors in the annual Vermont Covered Bridge Society Student Art Contest. The contest celebrates Vermont’s historic covered bridges through student artwork and is sponsored by the Vermont Covered Bridge Society, an organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the state's covered bridge heritage.

The winning Hazen Union students are:

• Ella Renaud – First Place ($100) for Bowers Covered Bridge, West Windsor, VT
• Danica Patridge – Second Place ($75) for Middle Covered Bridge, Woodstock, VT
• Karli Patridge – Third Place ($50) for Baltimore Covered Bridge, Springfield, VT

All three students received certificates recognizing their achievements. Their artwork was collected by the Vermont Covered Bridge Society and is featured on the Society’s website (https://www.vermontbridges.org).
