Community Forums

Orleans Southwest Supervisory Union will hold community forums each month during the 2014-2015 school year to share important information and promote discussion on education issues that affect us all

The first forum will be
November 3, 2014 at Hazen Union School from 6:00 - 7:30 pm.
David Martin, OSSU Network Administrator and Jennifer Burton, Technology Integration
 at Hazen
 and Lakeview
, will present on technology instruction, infrastructure, and cost as it relates to the question,
“How can we prepare students for 21st century careers?”
Discussion will follow the presentation.

Hazen's Associate Principal John Craig recently share
d his
thoughts about the kick off event, " Along with our faculty, we are really excited to see Hazen take the next steps in becoming a 21st century learning community. As we begin to shape our vision for technology at our school, it is important for the entire community to be part of this exciting process. We look forward to the opportunity to engage the community in this discussion."

The location of each forum will rotate among OSSU schools to encourage broad attendance. Forums will be recorded and available online shortly after the event via the OSSU website and Hardwick Community Television.
