National Honor Society Induction Ceremony:  The Hazen Chapter of the National Honor Society will recognize graduating seniors and induct new members at their annual ceremony in the Auditorium on Wednesday, May 25, at 7 PM.  All members of the Hazen community are cordially invited to attend the ceremony and celebration of academic excellence. 
Middle School Step-Up Day!  Hazen will welcome 6th graders from the elementary schools in the district who will transition to 7th grade at Hazen in the fall on Wednesday, May 25.  Please welcome the Class of 2022 as they tour the building.  Middle School Orientation will be held on Thursday, May 26, at 6:30 PM in the Auditorium for rising 7th grade students and their parents.  Students and parents will receive some very valuable information and be invited to stay and watch the drama production that follows at 7:30 PM.  
Middle School Drama Production this Week!  The Hazen Middle School Drama group will present the The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon on Thursday, May 26, at 7:30 PM and Friday, May 27, at 7:00 PM in the Hazen Auditorium.  Admission is by donation.  Come out for a fun and entertaining evening provided by our very talented students.  
Senior Citizens Day at Hazen sponsored by National Honor Society - May 26, 2016   The Hazen National Honor Society will host local senior citizens for a visit to Hazen on Thursday, May 26.  Seniors will be treated to a building tour followed by lunch in the cafeteria.  Please show your Wilcat Pride by making our guest feel welcome! 
2015-16 Yearbooks Now on Sale!  It's that time of year again....time to reserve your copy of the annual yearbook!  For a mere $20 you can guarantee you'll be one of the lucky ones to receive your very own Hazen 2016 yearbook.  Supplies are limited so please act fast!  Yearbook staff will be in the front lobby before school or you can see Mr. Raas or Mr. Mitchell anytime to reserve your copy.
GMTCC Open House:  The Green Mountain Technical and Career Center will hold an Open House for their new Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems program on Tuesday, May 31, from 9 to 11 AM at the Robtoy Farm in Jeffersonville, Vermont.  Students are invited to take a tour and learn more about this amazing opportunity!  Transportation will be provided from the GMTCC campus to the farm and back.

Summer Programs for Personal Growth and Fun!  Information on summer programs to students is available in Guidance Office.  Girls interested in spending time with horses and learning about Martial Arts, check out the program being offered by Ms. Pfeffer from June 27 to July 27.... Walking with Horses - Circular Harmony Summer Program.  The Buck's Lake Green Mountain Conservation Camp (GMCC) offers overnight camps for students wishing to participate in hunter safety, camping, hiking, canoeing, fishing, orienteering, forestry and more!  Limited scholarships are being offered for Hazen students.  Please see Mr. Miller in Guidance for additional information.
