Junior Class Meeting: There will be a meeting of the Junior Class on Wednesday, November 4, during the second half of TSA in the Cafeteria, All Juniors should attend this important meeting to discuss calendar sales to finance prom. Time is running out and we need to get busy!!
College Reps to Visit!: On Wednesday, November 4, at 9 AM, a representative from SUNY Potsdam will visit Hazen. A representative from the College of St. Joseph will also visit on Wednesday at 1 PM. On Friday, November 6, at 1 PM, a representative from Castleton University will visit. Interested juniors and seniors should sign up in the Guidance Office to take advantage of the opportunity to learn more about these local colleges.
Drama Club Production: The Hazen Drama Club is now in rehearsal for their fall production and you will not want to miss this family favorite musical! The Hazen Drama Club will present "The Wizard of Oz" at the Hardwick Town House at 7 PM on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, November 5, 6, and 7, with a special 2 PM matinee on Saturday. Admission to the play is $7 for adults and $5 for students and senior citizens. Advance tickets are available at the Hazen Front Office or at the door. Save the date and come out to support our very talented students!
Varsity Club Meeting: The Hazen Varsity Club will meet on Tuesday, November 10, from 10:30 to 11:00 AM in the Cafeteria. The agenda includes signing up for working the Snack Shack for JV, Varsity and Middle School games. All members should attend.
Parent-Teacher Conferences; Fall Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held at Hazen on Wednesday, November 11. School will be closed for students on that day to allow parents to participate in conferences. Conference appointments will be available from 12 noon to 6:30 PM. Parents wishing to schedule a conference should contact Mrs. Quinn in the Principal's Office, 472-2195, to schedule an appointment.
Coming Attractions......OSSU Chorus Day at Hazen: November 19, 2015. The halls of Hazen will ring with the sounds of harmony as choral singers from the district come together for the annual Chorus Day.
Parking Decals are In: The Hazen 2015-16 Parking Permits are in! Students who plan to drive to school and park in the Hazen parking lot should get an Application to Drive Vehicles on School Property form from the Information carousel in front of the Guidance Office. See Mrs. Quinn in the Principal's Office if you have a permit from last year and the same car. Those students will not need to fill out a new form but should pick up a new decal.
After School Activities: Hazen is pleased to offer the following new extra-curricular activities for the fall semester:

Poetry and Creative Writing with Kaleb Gates - Tuesdays, 2:45 PM in Ms. Harple's room.
