Thanksgiving Recess: Hazen Union and all schools in the Orleans Southwest Supervisory Union will be closed on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, November 26, 27 and 28, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. Classes will resume on Monday, December 1.
Middle School PE Creative Movement Performance: On Tuesday, November 25, at 1:30 PM Hazen Middle School PE students will perform for their peers in the gym incorporating various movement activities they have been working on in class. Parents are invited and welcome to attend!
The Season of Giving: The Hazen Key Club and National Honor Society are joining forces to support the WCAX Mitten Tree Project and a Holiday Food Drive to support the local food pantry. The clubs will sponsor an assembly today, Tuesday, at 2:20 PM in the auditorium to kick-off the Food Drive and Mitten Tree Projects.
Ski and Ride Program: Attention students planning to participate in the Ski and Ride Program! The program fee for this year is $115 and it is due by the end of school today, Tuesday, November 25. All money must be in before the break so that Ms. Foster can purchase passes. If you have questions or need help, please see Ms. Foster.
Red Cross Blood Drive: The Hazen Key Club will assist with the American Red Cross Blood Drive at the Hardwick Knights of Columbus Hall today, Tuesday, November 25, from 12:30 to 6 PM. Key Club members should see Patti Foster to sign to help. "Food for Thought": The Food for Thought group will meet after school today, Tuesday, November 25. The group will be celebrating the book See You at Harry's and having an ice cream part to celebrate the food in the book. All middle school students are invited to join...see Ms Harple to sign up.
