6th Grade Step-Up Day at Hazen!   The Hazen community will welcome 6th grade students from the OSSU District on Wednesday, May 17.  Students will arrive for orientation at 9:15 AM.  They will meet with school administrators, tour the building with NHS students, be treated to a concert by Hazen music students and meet with middle school teachers in their classrooms before returning to the elementary schools at 11:15 AM.  Hazen students are asked to extend a courteous Wildcat Welcome to the Hazen Class of 2023!
Orientation for 6th Grade Parents:  A special orientation evening is planned for all parents of 6th grade students who will attend Hazen in the fall on Wednesday, May 17, at 6:30 PM in the Auditorium.  Parents will have an opportunity to meet teachers, and be introduced to the changes they should expect when their child enters middle school.
Community Service Opportunity:  Volunteers are needed to put flags on veteran's graves at the Greensboro Cemetery before Memorial Day.  Hazen high school students can earn community service hours while performing an important and patriotic service.  See Mrs. Quinn in the Principal's Office for contact information for the project organizer.  
Middle School Drama Presentation... The Hazen Middle School Drama Group will present "Little Women" on May 18 and 19 at the Hardwick Town House at 7 PM.  
Junior Prom.. The Hazen Class of 2018 will present Prom 2017 on Saturday, May 20, from 7 to 11 PM at the Hope Grows Farm in Hyde Park.  Tickets are on sale for Juniors and Seniors for $20 each.  
National Honor Society Induction Ceremony...  The Hazen Union School Chapter of the National Honor Society will induct new members on Monday, May 22, at 7:30 PM.  A reception will follow the ceremony in the Hazen Cafeteria.
Spring Music Concerts... The Middle School Band and Chorus will perform on Tuesday, May 23, and the  High School Band, and Chorus will perform on Wednesday, May 24.  Both concerts will begin at 7 PM in the Hazen Auditorium.
Senior Citizens Day at Hazen.. The Hazen National Honor Society will host local seniors to our school on May 25.  
Red Cross Blood Drive at Hazen .. Friday, May 26, from 12:30 to 6 PM in the Hazen Gym.  Sponsored by Hazen NHS.
Hardwick Spring Festival Parade.. The Hazen Band will perform in the Hardwick Spring Festival Parade on Saturday, May 27.
Memorial Holiday ... School will be closed on Monday, May 29, 2017, for the Memorial Day holiday.

A La Carte items now available in the Hazen Cafeteria!  The Hazen Cafeteria now offers some entrees, healthy snack items and beverages for purchase individually.  A la carte items will be cash sales only or paid for by funds on student account......students may not charge a la carte items.
