The Season of Giving:  This is the last week to bring in donations for the 2016 Food Drive  and 2016 Mitten Tree  sponsored by the Hazen National Honor Society, Key Club and SADD Chapter. Collection boxes have been placed around school to collect donations of food, hats and mittens for those less fortunate during the holiday season.  Please be generous in your support of these very important projects.

Dave Morse Memorial Scholarship Fundraiser:  The Hardwick Village Restaurant is sponsoring a holiday fundraiser to benefit the Dave Morse Memorial Scholarship that is awarded each year to a deserving Hazen graduate.  Dave Morse was local sportswriter and an avid supporter of Wildcat Athletics.  A holiday tree has been placed on display at the restaurant where patrons can purchase an ornament for a donation.  All proceeds from the sale of ornaments will benefit the scholarship fund.

A very special film for parents is being offered at Hazen!  On Monday, December 19, 2016, Hazen Union School will sponsor a viewing of an important and relevant documentary film - "Screenagers" - in the Hazen Auditorium at 6 PM. The film explores how teens interact using electronic devices and looks at how parents can guide the behavior.  Admission to the film open to the public and donations are appreciated.

December Recess - School will be closed from December 26 to January 2 for the December Recess.  Classes will resume after the New Year on Tuesday, January 3, 2017.
