Ski and Ride Trip this Week:  Members of the Ski and Ride program who plan to attend the trip on Friday, should review the following reminders.  The following are important reminders for skiers and riders:  Students must have at least 70% in all classes to be eligible to attend; Middle school students MUST eat 1st lunch and be prepared to board the bus at 11:30 AM;  All gear MUST be in the lobby by 10 AM;  All skiers and riders MUST wear a helmet;  The trip will return to Hazen at 5 to 5:15 PM.
Community Ice Rink to Open Soon....Possibly:  Volunteers from the Hardwick Recreation Committee and Fire Department have been working hard to get the Hardwick Community Ice Rink on Granite Street ready for use for the season and they need our help.  Unfortunately, some person or persons riding a snow machine is riding over the freshly flooded rink damaging the surface and making it unusable to skaters.  Please spread the word to snow mobile riders to stay off the community ice rink with snow machines and keep to the VAST trail.  This will preserve the ice for skaters who would like to enjoy their sport as well.
