Congratulations Wildcats!  Congratulations to the Varsity Boys Soccer Team for their overtime victory over Lake Region High School on Friday.  The boys will now move forward in the playoffs to take on Leland and Gray High School on Tuesday, October 28, at 3 PM at Townshend.  Go Wildcats!!

Fan Bus for Play-Off Game!  Hazen is offering a fan bus for students wanting to attend the Boys Varsity  Soccer play off game at Leland and Gray High School in Townshend, Vermont at 3 PM on Tuesday. The fan bus will depart from Hazen at 11:30 AM and return at about 8:30-9 PM. Students wishing to go MUST bring a permission note signed by a parent.  Because this is an exceptionally long bus trip, students should bring extra cash for a supper meal on the return trip.   There will be a $5 charge to pay for the bus and there are a limited number of seats.  Sign up as soon as possible in the front office.  

Debate Team Meeting:  The Hazen Debate Team will meet on Monday, October 27, during Support Block in the cafeteria.   

US Army Rep to Visit:  A representative from the US Army will be available on Wednesday, October 29, to meet with juniors and seniors interested in a career in the armed forces.  Please see Mrs. LaPorte in Guidance to sign up.  

Attention Seniors!  This Wednesday, October 29, at 1:05 PM, there will be a meeting of the Senior Class with Matt Clark, Josten's representative, in the Library to discuss ordering caps, gowns, and graduation announcements.  Any senior who cannot attend the meeting can pick up a packet in the front office.  Orders must be turned in to the Josten's rep on November 5 during lunch in the cafeteria.  Any senior who cannot attend the November 5 lunch meeting can turn in their packet in advance to the Front Office.

Haunting Hazen !!  Attention all ghouls and goblins!  The Hazen Student Council will sponsor the annual Halloween Costume Parade and Contest on Friday, October 31.  'Tis the season to dust off those vampire fangs and rattle those skeleton bones ... so get ready!!   Details will follow...

Fall Parent-Teacher Conferences:  Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on Tuesday, November 11, 2014.  Appointments will be available from 12 noon until 7 PM.  Parents wishing to schedule a conference should contact Mrs. Quinn in the Principal's Office, 472-2195.  Students will not have school on that day.
