Teen Read Week!  October 12-19 is Teen Read Week at Hazen.  All around our school we will use the TSA period today, Monday, October 13, to drop everything and read.  Please remember to bring a book or check out the offerings in our Library before TSA today.
Basketball Sign Ups:  Any student planning to play basketball this year MUST sign up outside of John Sperry's office.  Please do so TODAY!
PSAT Test This Week:  The PSAT test will be administered at Hazen on Wednesday, October 15, beginning at 7:50 AM in Room 1.  Students taking the PSAT MUST be on time.  No one will be admitted after 7:50 AM.
Early Release and Professional Development Days:  Students and parents are reminded that students will be dismissed at 11:35 AM on Wednesday, October 15.  There will be no school for students on Thursday and Friday, October 16 and 17.  
VSAC Paying for College Night:  The Hazen Guidance Department will sponsor a VSAC Paying for College Night for all college bound Juniors and Seniors with their parents.  The meeting will take place on Monday, October 20, at 5:30 PM in the Hazen Library.  Please sign up in the Guidance Office.  
College Reps to Visit:  Representatives from two colleges will visit Hazen on Tuesday, October 14.  A representative from White Mountain Community College will be in the Hazen Library from 12 to 12:30 PM;  the Representative from Vermont Technical College will be available from 1:30 to 2 PM also in the Library.  Interested students can sign up in the Guidance Office.
School Pictures are In!!  Students who did not get their pictures on Friday can pick them up at the Front Desk.  School Picture Retake Day is scheduled for Friday, October 24, 2014.
Cookie Dough Sale!  The annual fall Music Department Cookie Dough Sale is now on!  This is your chance to order some sweet treats that will arrive in time for holiday baking.  Bake up some deliciousness and help the Music Department.  See any Band or Chorus member to order TODAY!
Student Parking Passess:  Our 2014-15 Student Parking decals have arrived!  All high school students who drive to school and park in the Hazen parking lot are required to register their vehicle with the Principal's Office and display a parking decal.  The decals are free and forms are available in the Principal's Office and the Front Office.  Get yours today!!  
Senior Class:  Please pick a "Senior Superlatives" form in the front office and return to Mr. Mitchell or Brittany Richardson.  Senior information is due by December 12, 2014.
