Sports Awards Night: All fall athletes are reminded that the Fall Sports Awards Night will be held TONIGHT, Monday, November 3, in the auditorium at 6 PM. Please attend.
Community Focus Forum: The OSSU will sponsor a Community Focus Forum at Hazen Union School on Monday, November 3, at 6 PM in the school library. All members of the community are invited to attend for a public discussion on topics related to school system management. The topic for discussion on November 3, is "How can we prepare students for 21st century careers: technology instruction and infrastructure".
College Representatives to Visit: On Tuesday, November 4, a representative from the College of St. Joseph will visit Hazen at 1:30 in the Library. On Thursday, a representative from Castleton State College will be in the Library at 1:05 PM. On Friday, November 7, at representative from the University of Southern Maine will visit at 9:30 AM. Juniors and Seniors interested in meeting with a college representative can sign up and get a pass from Mrs. Laporte in Guidance.
Basketball Meeting: Any Hazen student planning to play basketball this season MUST attend a meeting with a parent on Tuesday, November 4, at 7 PM in the gym.
Senior Class: Attention Seniors! Cap and gown orders are due by 11 AM on Wednesday, November 5. Of you haven't received a Josten's order packet yet, please pick one up in the front office.
Drama Club Production: The Hazen Drama Club will present the musical "Peter Pan" at the Hardwick Townhouse at 7 PM on Thursday, November 6, Friday, November 7, and at 2 PM and 7 PM on Saturday, November 8. All students, staff and faculty are invited to support the Drama Club and the talented students who make this production possible.
School Picture Retake Day: The photographers from LifeTouch will return to Hazen on Friday, November 7, for those students who missed school picture day in September. Pictures will be taken in the morning...so please bring your best smile!
SAT at Hazen this Saturday! Students who registered to take the SAT at Hazen on Saturday, November 8, will need to be at school no later than 7:45 AM. Students taking the test will need their ticket, photo ID, calculator, and No 2 pencils.
