Ski and Ride Sign-Up:  Students planning to go on the Ski and Ride trip this week should sign up outside Ms. Foster's room before the end of school on Tuesday.
Governor's Institute Winter Weekends:  Vermont 9th-12th grade students are invited to attend the 2016 Governor's Institute Winter Weekends - two hands-on academic/creative weekends in February.  At Winter Weekend students live with a group of high schoolers on a college campus, make new friends, complete a mentored, in-depth study challenge in the topic you choose, and gain exciting new skills and ideas.  It's the perfect way to try out a Governor's Institute and jump into something new!  More information is available at http://www.giv.org/institutes/winterweekend  Classes are filling up fast and sign up is required by January 13th.
School Closed for Teacher Workday:  Students and parents are reminded that there will be no school for students on Monday, January 18, for a teacher's work day.
Driver Education and Inclement Weather Delays:  Scheduled Driver Education driving practice will automatically be cancelled on days that school closes due to inclement weather.
Parking Decals are In: The Hazen 2015-16 Parking Permits are in! Students who plan to drive to school and park in the Hazen parking lot should get an Application to Drive Vehicles on School Property form from the Information carousel in front of the Guidance Office. See Mrs. Quinn in the Principal's Office if you have a permit from last year and the same car. Those students will not need to fill out a new form but should pick up a new decal.
