Fan Bus for the BIG GAME!  There are still seats available on the fan bus for the Boys Varsity Soccer Team Division Championship game against Stowe on Saturday at 10 AM at Williamstown High School.  The bus will leave from Hazen at 8:45 AM.  Students taking the bus must bring their permission slip and pay the $5 fee before they can claim a seat on the bus.    

Haunting the Halls of Hazen !!  Attention all ghouls and goblins!  The Hazen Student Council will sponsor the annual Halloween Costume Parade and Contest TODAY, Friday, October 31, at 1:05 in the cafeteria.  Prizes will be awarded in several categories, so dust off those vampire fangs and rattle those skeleton bones!  
SADD:  The Hazen SADD group will meet during high school lunch today, Friday, October 31, in Mike Clark's room.  
VARNG Representative to Visit:  A representative from the Vermont Army National Guard will visit Hazen today, Friday, October 31, at 1:30 PM in the Library.  Interested Juniors and Seniors can sign up in the Guidance Office.
Community Focus Forum:  The OSSU will sponsor a Community Focus Forum at Hazen Union School on Monday, November 3, at 6 PM in the school library.  All members of the community are invited to attend for a public discussion on topics related to school system management.  The topic for discussion on November 3, is "How can we prepare students for 21st century careers: technology instruction and infrastructure".
School Picture Retake Day:  The photographers from LifeTouch will return to Hazen on Friday, November 7, for those students who missed school picture day in September.  Pictures will be taken in the morning...so please bring your best smile!
Coming Soon.....Fall Parent-Teacher Conferences:  Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on Tuesday, November 11, 2014.  Appointments will be available from 12 noon until 7 PM. Parents wishing to schedule an appointment should call Mrs. Quinn in the Principal's Office, 472-2195.
