GMTCC Application Information:  Applications for current sophomores and juniors interested in attending GMTCC for the 2016-2017 school year are also available on-line now at gmtcc.info/admission.  Please make an appointment with Chris Miller, Director of Guidance, for more information.  
NEW IN 2016-2017!  GMTCC will offer an Agriculture and Forestry Foundations course available for 9th and 10th grade Hazen Union students only.  (Agriculture and Forestry Foundations on-line application).  Also see:  Attn 8th and 9th grade flyer from GMTCC.
Green Mountain Girls State:  Hardwick area high school junior girls interested in leadership development and government are encouraged to participate in Green Mountain Girls State program to be held at Vermont Technical College in Randolph June 18-23, 2016.  This amazing opportunity to learn about citizenship is sponsored by the American Legion Auxilliary.  To apply contact Patricia Tedesco atn PTe1218@aol.com or call/text 802-793-4276.  The application deadline is March 18.
Special Assembly:  The Hazen Youth Risk Behavior Survey team will present the results of the Hazen YRBS on Wednesday, March 23, during TA followed by the Improbable Players with a series of short scenes pertaining to substance abuse.  The Improbable Players are sponsored by SADD, Healthy Lamoille Valley and the Hazen YRBS team.
Professional Development Day March 25th:  Schools in the Orleans Southwest Supervisory Union will be closed for students on Friday, March 25th to allow teachers to participate in Professional Development.  
Green Mountain Boys State:   Junior boys interested in participating the 2016 Boys State at Lyndon State College June 19-24, should see Mr. Miller for information and an application before May 1st.  This leadership and scholarship camp is sponsored by the American Legion. 
Selective Service Registration:  A reminder that all male US citizens are required to register with the the Selective Service within 30 days of their 18th birthday. Go to www.sss.gov for more information.
