School Closed for Teacher Workday on Monday:  Students and parents are reminded that there will be no school for students on Monday, January 18, for a teacher's work day.  
Ski and Ride Sign-Up:  Students planning to go on the Ski and Ride trip this week should eat first lunch and be ready to board the bus at 11:45 AM.  
Fall Driver's Education Wraps Up with a Special Farewell from Mr. Field:  "To all my Driver Education Students:  It has been a privilege and a joy to have had the opportunity to work with you this last semester.  You are all great people!  Please make choices and decisions that are in your best interest, and please stay safe".   Mr. Field
Painting for Peace on Monday, January 18.   Create images of peace and tolerance to celebrate Martin Luther King Day at the GRACE Building on Mill Street in Hardwick, from 1 to 4 PM.  A donation of $5-$10 is suggested for supplies.  Paintings will be displayed at the "Raise Your Voice" event on Friday, January 22.  Contact Emily Lanxner 917.2179 for information.
"Raise Your Voice" event at Hazen:  Stand Up, Hazen's new social justice group, will sponsor an evening of mixed media performances exploring the themes of civil rights, equality, and inclusion by students and community members in the Hazen Auditorium on Friday, January 22, at 6 pm.  The event is free and open to the public.  Donations to benefit Stand Up will be appreciated.  Contact Ethan Hibbard 802.586.2200 for information.  
Parking Decals are In: The Hazen 2015-16 Parking Permits are in! Students who plan to drive to school and park in the Hazen parking lot should get an Application to Drive Vehicles on School Property form from the Information carousel in front of the Guidance Office. See Mrs. Quinn in the Principal's Office if you have a permit from last year and the same car. Those students will not need to fill out a new form but should pick up a new decal.
